I really like new 52 Batgirl. Anything similar?

I'm not sure if it's the character, or just Gail's writing because I haven't read any of her other work. But is there anything similar you would recommend?

What I mostly enjoy (Aside from how great Barb is) is how much you get to hear her thoughts. Most comics I read don't get into nearly as much detail and it makes it a lot easier to care about the character for me... That and I prefer the smaller, female characters compared to their male counterparts.

Are there other characters that are similar, or written in a similar style? I'd happy to look into both DC and Marvel stories.
