Anyone else feel this way? Maybe it was just the big buildup and mystery of the whole thing. First, Absolute Power doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Absolute Universe so that was a big waste of time. Basically, the time was now right for Darkseid to make his move with the heroes weakened by their big fight. Big waste of time and money on that one.
Next, the Absolute Universe, as it turns out, won't be DC's answer to Marvel's Ultimate Universe, it's just a darker Darkseid-infused universe. Quite frankly, it looks like one of those Death Metal worlds from the Dark Multiverse. Sure, we'll have to wait and see, but I'm definitely feeling disappointed. This isn't the "more realistic" universe I expected based on the original comparisons to Ultimate.
As for All-In itself, the "turn it upside down" thing just annoyed me. It was supposed to be clever but I just got lucky and happened to start with the "52 weeks before" so read it in chronological order, which is how it should have been in the first place.
Last, the Fourth World has always been my least favorite thing in DC. Almighty unstoppable gods who encounter Earth's superheroes time and time again and, in the end, Superman or someone else finishes the clash by talking to them and Darkseid says something cryptic about "for now I'll stop, but next time ..." and then repeat that same thing over and over and over.
