Who's loving the Martian Manhunter backup in JLA?

Seriously, I feel like each month that backup completely steals the spotlight from the book. This week was no different, and I'm hoping that either A) This becomes a whole long saga that'll get released in its own trade the way the Shazam backups are in JL or B) the story ties in to a future Martian Manhunter book.
With the way the backups are being written, and the general love for the character, I don't see any way that he doesn't carry his own book with absolute ease. Thoughts?
