I’d imagine this topic has been discussed before but still, as a kid I always found him boring and I feel the general consensus around me was that he was your generic cookie cutter hero.
I saw glimpses of this not being the case with Young Justice, but truly saw the depth of his character in the old JL show. I’ve seen him appear in a few comics but never read any of his personal stories. Now watching Superman and Lois, his character is a fucking joy to watch and even with how strong he is, just knowing his life as Clark Kent makes him feel like he isn’t some invincible powerhouse. I love it and really wanna dive further into his character.
TL;DR - Any good recommendations for stories that focus on his life as both Clark and Superman? Also is Smallville worth starting?
