The parallels between the way that WB has developed their DC films seems very similar to the way that Fox developed their Marvel movies before everything went south for them and they got bought by Disney.
Logan and the New Mutants being developed without any communication with the people working on the main X-Men films, the director of Fantastic Four (2015) being locked out of the editing process of the film and distancing himself from it afterwards, the writer of X-Men: Apocalypse (which didn't do as well as Days of Future Past) being allowed to not only write but direct Dark Phoenix.
Sounds familiar to decisions made by WB that have been brought to light in recent articles, no?
