So I don't wanna be sensationalist here but Great Apes are pretty... well, great. This new release has made them possibly the best team in the game that doesn't use Gogeta or Super Saiyans.

They each bring a lot to the table and have some great links with each other.

• Gigantism gives them an exclusive 2 Ki link together

• Roar of the Saiyan gives them 25% ATK together, that's 10% more than Super Fierce Battle and tied for the highest ATK link in the game

• They all share Saiyan Warrior Race. It's not an OP link or anything but every little bit counts.

• The Bardock-Team apes share Saiyan Pride for 15% ATK

• The Bardock-Team apes get an additional 1 ki from the Bardock Team link.

• The Bardock-Team apes and Radtiz get 1 additional Ki from Saiyan Lineage.

This is all excluding the ape gimmick. The biggest issue with Apes before is that they had no great synergy with non-apes and it wasn't worth sacrificing a link for an Ape transformation that may never come. Now a full tape team links so well together that it's a totally viable team even without the mechanic, which is just a perk now.

In my opinion the ideal ape team is probably:

• Raditz or Fasha leader

• Bardock

• Vegeta

• Shugesh

• Toma

• Kid Goku or Borgos Goku is the better Ape, but Borgos is the better non-Ape character. Depends on which you care about more.

• Fasha or Raditz friend, whichever you didn't take as leader.
