DAE feel super invaded / creeped out when they get ads on some random phone app for a business/place where you live?
Post Body

For example, I got an ad today for a school called "Hope Horizons" or some shit, in my town. It just creeps me out that these advertisers know where I live, to the specific town/area that I live in in my city, it just feels wrong.

And it feels like there's nothing I can do about it, I've tried to turn off personalized advertising in that app but there's no option for that that I can find. It feels like there's nothing I can do about, even if I do turn off options for targeted advertising / collection of my data for ads where I can on my phone / and apps, still shit like this turns up. It feels hopeless.

And I feel like if I do try to download some alternate private software I'll end up giving my phone/computer a virus in the process because I'm dumb.
