I'm 22. life is okay. happy but boring. good friends, good home, good girlfriend. grades are ok. Everything is comfy and supportive.Positivity from every angle.

but I've always wanted to go on tour in a shitty van with my friends playing music in different cities. there's no money and no pride in it. telling anyone your dream is to be poor, they instantly judge and look down a you.

but there is finally an opportunity approaching to leave. we won't make any money, we won't be famous, we might not even have a good time.

What should I do?

Do I leave my job and put my studies on hold?

am I hurting my life if I leave for this year or two?

Friends from younger grades are already graduating and getting "real jobs". I feel like a loser for wanting this instead of a more "adult" life.
