In my state of IL a bill passed last year allowing daca recipients to become PO’s. I was wondering if anyone has gone through the process successfully in IL or any other state where the same law was passed.
Im stuck on understanding how we can be PO’s without being able to own or use a gun. In IL you need a FOID card (fire owners id ) and on the application it doesn’t have any place to in put DACA information. I keep getting the run around from the department and state but I have heard of people on the force with DACA. Would love to hear from someone that’s gone through the process.
