How to deal with an uneducated immigrant parent

Post Body

Not only does my parent blame me as a child for being undocumented but she is slowly not complying with helping me at all. She came with me to this country legally with her husband and I was 2 year old on a tourist visa. I was going to apply for daca and I found out the ability to even know what daca was but by the time I applied the program got paused and I waited for trumps administration to be over. My parent was lazy in finding resources to getting my future secured and did no paperwork to help me or herself out. I also found out we qualified for a u visa and had to drag her to the appointments and file everything out back in 2019. I don’t know how in the hell she blames a child for being undocumented, but she is acting more paranoid and isn’t trusting any lawyers whatsoever and I’m worried she will jeopardize my shot at a stable life. She does not trust anyone and is acting irrationally and it’s making me worry about becoming a citizen because of her faults.
