As of 8/21 7:00PM Disney and ACC has said on-site they will not be honoring any unofficial lines for the time being.

This means if a group strolls in front of you after hours waiting in your unofficial queue - when the “official” queue begins there is NOTHING you can do. Line up as early as you’d like, but Disney doesn’t seem interested in entertaining unofficial queues on convention center property/hotels/walkways etc like previous years. Subject to change but Disney seems no where near as lenient about unofficial lines as they have in the past.

This might be an empty threat by ACC staff (not Disney) has said if things get too crazy city police will be on hand to cite people for trespassing if they refuse to leave the convention center.

TLDR: Waste your time at your own risk. Disney/ACC might change their minds, but right now it’s being handled very differently vs last year where an unofficial line on property was honored and made official very quickly.
