Systematic Fungal Infections

Anyone here with fungal infections (Aspergillus, etc…) on their chests ever find that they get other systematic symptoms in other areas?

I had a bout of Aspergillus a few years ago and would often also get some strange symptoms that my clinic often disregarded, but usually at the same time as my chest going tight. I’d get a strange white bouncy discharge from my nostril (left only, for some reason), cracked corners of my lips (Angular Cheilitis), and some soreness, redness and mild swelling downstairs. All of which are possibly fungal and seem to flare up at once.

I’ve done Itraconizole before and tolerated it well, and if anything my sweat tests were even better on it, but it took some real fighting to get them to consider it.

Anyone else had a fungal infection become systematic? If yes, how did you get your clinic to pay attention? I could do with some ammo ready before I speak to them on Friday.

Cheers folks.
