CFRD Porridge (Oatmeal) Query

My clinic reckon that porridge shouldn’t raise sugars too much, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for me and I miss it. They suggested twice rolled oats but the ones I’d tried previously were also rolled (Asda/Walmart own brand), but probably quite heavily processed. Anyone found any good brands that are slow release and don’t hammer your sugars? Ideally UK brands.
