After over 13 years, I shaved my scalp smooth for the last time until at least 2022, on NYE. Today, I took a comb, ran it through the sideburn grain first, then combed the hair up against the grain, held the comb angled down towards the corner of the eyes with the hair pinned out of blade danger, then clippered up to the comb.
The new hairline slants look okay, 2cm visible below a low hat brim, and I'll be razor shaving the remaining stubble tomorrow, but should I continue pinning the scalp hair up out of blade reach, and shaving the sideburn stubble along the ear (until I get some hair removal that's longer-lasting?) as it gets long enough to be gathered into side tails?
ETA: After stubble shaved
