Is it hard to go from Senior SDR to CSM?

I worked as a senior SDR for over a year and then got laid off so currently unemployed, but is it possible to switch to a CSM. I have done customer service & AE in non SaaS for many years, so not sure if that's enough experience to get me a CSM role in SaaS.
Being unemployed and the economy being soo bad, is it even possible to switch?
