Quiet quitting vs getting fired
Post Body

I’ve been fired from one job for not meeting metrics but it was more about office politics. So getting fired again isn’t really something I want to do.

I work in a car insurance call center. Worst job I’ve ever had, has really exacerbated my anxiety plus my work ethic & reliability are suffering because of it. I work for a third party, they are a joke, all they care about is the client. The clients mostly suck -old , mean, entitled. We were told if someone asks if I work directly with the client we can say I’m with a TPA. I got dinged for saying it the other day, saying it makes the client look bad.

So, I’m looking for another job before I get fired for my apathy. #But how does quiet quitting work in a production driven profession?# Especially when getting bad MSATS becomes the member is unhappy with the client. Then the TPA grades the calls according to their standards. Double ding. I’m hoping to get a job directly with a major insurance company not a go between.
