I think I dislike this change. The current lurk gives me my nice 1| 0 to make my attacks better then I use my newly improved attack and then get lurk again with THAT attack. And the 1| 0 is to lurkers everywhere so as I build up my lurks it's an increasing threat, I'm able to build a mounting dread in my opponent cause now they know I can potentially bring out a 6|2 for just 1 mana AND every time they see the lurk proc, they know that at the end of that round I'm (most likely) drawing ANOTHER unit that's going to have all those bonus stats. Your changes feel more like "when you attack you might cast a random spell effect". It's not lasting, it's just a one-off effect. It's not building up to anything. And with the different effects that might happen, I can't even be confident that I'm going to get the right lurk effect. I might be intending to only attack a single target but I hit a snapjaw swarm or jaull-fish and now I've set off my enemy's last breath. I'd want it to either be consistent or if it's going to have myriad effects then let me know what they are so I can make better choices. Maybe new lurk activates when I do things while I have lurkers in hand or something? Even then I'd still miss the build up of getting 7 stacks of old lurk so they know exactly that I'm threatening a huge swing any moment now. Really feels like it fits the word. "Lurk". Also, I don't mean any of what I've said as hate. I still think it's a neat idea, just maybe with a few tweaks and/or on an original keyword instead of as a thing for lurk.
