[USA] Psych Evals in Court

Post Body

My stbx had a psych eval which was very long but essentially rated him ā€œmoderateā€ threat for family violence, endorsed ā€œhazardous use of alcoholā€ and noted that he lied so much he invalidated several of the tests (specifically anger management and DV, child abuse). Apparently itā€™s called ā€œfaking goodā€. He didnā€™t show any indicators for mental health though the dr noted that since he lied a lot it was hard to tell and that it is at odds with bud current therapy diagnosis.

My question is what types of step up plan can address someone who is essentially a pathological liar?

Tell me you're unstable and lost primary without telling me you're unstable and lost primary.

It's not a prediction. It's an educated guess based on his own thoughts and feelings.

If he truly was able to pass his psych eval with flying colors like he says, then he'd have no problem articulating his feelings in a non-misogynistic and healthy way.

Yet here we are.
