We were working CS out via lawyers when she went on maternity leave (child with different man) and suddenly filed via DCSS. She is saying she has no income but she had sent w2s over a couple months ago to my lawyer showing a monthly salary of 3600/month (she makes more than me).
My lawyer is saying they might cut her some slack for not working during maternity leave? Has that been anyone else’s experience? Is she able to just say she isn’t working anymore due to the new baby? I suspect she may continue to drag out not working longer than 3 months due to the baby as she has no one else to care for it. It just seems a bit unfair that I have to make up for her lost income and struggle on minimum wage due to a choice she made to have a baby with someone else.

You'd make that assumption based on what exactly?
