Dishes & pests.
Post Body

I work in an office building, evenings. Everyone is usually gone by the time I get in.

The people in this office building seem to have an issue with not cleaning their dishes. They'll leave stacked dirty plates on tables in their offices, overnight. This is an old building, with a multitude of bugs and a serious rodent problem.

We do have dishwashers! But the people refuse to load their dishes, or even rinse them. After 15 years, I'm sick of it.

The other day I walked into one of the offices and of course, a pile of gross dirty dishes greet me.

I decided to throw them out. Right into the bin.

They leave me passive aggressive notes about everything. When any dispencer reaches the halfway point, they leave me a stupid note. Like im not monitoring it or something. I'm honestly just sick of these adults who don't clean up after them selves. I've also noticed they leave each other notes, specifically about leaving dishes out. People don't like it, but there's at least 5 office rooms that leave dishes out.

I'm supposed to keep the building clean, not clean these people's dirty gross dishes.

Well, of course they left me the most elaborate note. It was printed in colour, and It had a fancy headline that was like 'the curious case of the missing dishes'. That alone just made me fume.

What would you have done? I'm so over it.
