I got my MRI report back today and of course I read it immediately.
In one section in particular, it says, ". . . the left paramedian pituitary gland, overall nonspecific, may represent a microadenoma in the appropriate clinical settings. Clinical correlation is recommended."
Does that mean what I think it means? Is brain surgery in my future? Those of you who have gone through the surgery (or anyone else, really) feel free to comment.
And if it helps, I've had metric tons blood work, multiple salivary cortisol tests and a urinary cortisol test, and everything is always frustratingly negative. I'm on my third endocrinologist, and my current endocrinologist is the only one who ordered an MRI and seems to be much better than my other endocrinologists were. I'll give the name upon request if allowed.
