Very new DM and my friends/players “really” want to do Curse of Strahd. Could use some advice

As I said in the title, I’m a fairly new DM and my 2 players really want to do Curse of Strahd. Mostly we’ve only done one shots as of now, so I’m a bit nervous. Also, by new, I mean I’ve only run 8 games so far and they’ve all been one shots which use the same characters that they made... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
