So! My party has split two ways... And two locations.

Last time we played the party was defeated by Baba (It was meant to be a rp encounter but the player that would've tried to talk wasnt there, leaving two chaotic warlocks to their own) in what would've been a tpk, but I decided she would hand these people to Strahd since they insulted him.

So 3/4 party awakens in the holding cells of castle Ravenloft (The fourth party member was in there too, invisible, i should have only let them introduce their familiar). Through various means they manage to get free, being greeted by an illusion of Strahd letting them know that they shall pay for their crimes by becoming his meal, that this is their only chance to escape.

Stepping out of the cells they can hear someone screaming in pain and someone laughing in delight, they peek around the corner to see Henrik paying for allowing the characters to find the bones, and Volenta having a great time with a dagger. NOW, the party has no armor, no weapons, one warlock can cast her eldritch blast.

This starts a hard battle in which no ones AC is above a 14, Volenta has rogue levels, the party has half HP. Through running around the warlock that started this and the invisible character find the brazier and the other two find the other prisioner. In the brazier room the warlock throws the blue gem into the fire and the two characters enter it while the others run up stairs.

So, now the naked, 10 hp, cantrip and dagger wielding warlock and a witch are in the Amber temple, while the fighter and other warlock along this ally are in the kitchen.

This is how my prision brake session got turned into a benny hill scene.

Any suggestions as to what i could do to fix this? I was thinking of having Ezmeralda show up in the castle, as for the two in the mountain? They have no allies, Rahadin could show up since they startled the spawns (managed to get away through a deception roll) and they took treasure from the vault.
