Next session will likely involve Madame Eva's reading, and I'd like to start by pulling three cards, one for each character, allowing Madame Eva to confirm they have the potential to defeat Strahd and to warn them of their potential own Bad Ends. I'm trying to make them foreshadowing, with things feelings mysterious (making them want to know more) rather than just cryptic (making them go "I don't get it, let's move to the next shiny thing"). And I've been quite unhappy with what I get to by myself, hence this ask for help.

The three characters, the card I've picked for them, their dark secret, and their potential Bad Ends are:

- A Rogue / Phantom, Broken One, who after a mod-life crisis left his pencil pushing job to join a gang, who did in their first heist on a cult who was summoning an Old One. Since them he's haunted by his two companions who died because of what he did that night. I expect the Old One to be linked to one of the vestiges in the Amber Temple, and his presence to be key to potentially unleash one of them onto the world.

- A Tiefling Blood Hunter, Ghost, Order of the Ghostslayer, who had to learn from his order how to control his Demonic blood after he slaughtered his fellow street urchins by ghouls proxy. He believe his mom was a Tiefling and his dad ran away, when he's in fact Izek's brother (replacing Ireena), was found by a Vistana who snag him away from Barovia, and planned to exploit him before she died violently. He lacks empathy, and I plan to use Izek as a warning of what he can become if he embraces his tainted family rather than his humanity.

- A Cleric of the Twilight Domain, Tempter, who has been married to an demon-worshipping, abusive noble, and is projecting so much into Ireena's current predicament, with whom she has developed an ambiguous romance. She's the vessel for a depraved Demon who has been inhabited her for 20 years before she was able to take control back long enough for her order to seal the Demon inside her, and she has to walk a fine line between bringing good into the world and feeding the perverse creature with foul acts. I plan to make her 18 CHA ass a potential bride target for Vlahd and a potential Dreadlord for the Dark Powers.

Of course, none of them knows the other two's past yet. What would Madam Eva tell them?
