So I have been running CoS for my party, and they recently got to the Amber Temple. I was not prepared for what my party was about to do. They were able to get to the second floor where some sarcophagi were. They do the whole investigating and arcana check and learn about the evil spirits within and how they offer dark gifts with a drawback. Well long story short, they didn’t care. 3 members of the party accepted these dark gifts, only to find another set of sarcophagi and accepted their terrible gifts as well. I would not be surprised if these three characters accept more gifts and go internally insane. Now I just wait and see, thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
