Can a shadow kill Strahd?

Post Body

Ok so it's more or less me being a dick player but I'm playing mystic and the Mastery of Light and Darkness might be a way to take out Strahd (though unlikely). For those who don't know one ability of that Discipline is Shadow Beasts (3 psi; conc., 1 min.) which creates 2 shadows. If we can get Strahd in a grapple (hopefully taking away those pesky legendary resistances). Or get a hold person on him and let the 2 shadows hit him for 10 turns so that's 2d4 str sapping per turn. By average it would take about 5 turns to get Stradh's Str score to 0 all the while making it harder for him to get out of the grapple. Though an unlikely thing to happen this is just something my mind made this could cause Strahd to instantly die as said in the shadow's strength-sapping ability. So he wouldn't be able to mist form away. What are your guy's thoughts about this?

Though obviously Stradh's mist form is able to bypass this but hey this is just a dumb idea I had.
