Right now, the party is level 6, with 4 players, in Vallaki. They missed a festival previously, and are now intent on not just staying for the next one, but really wanting to experience it too.

For background info: Ireena was left at the blue water inn while the party went to the winery. She got taken by Izek, and it's been several days before the party realized they should probably find her.

Back to the now: For the festival, it's the festival of "bursting radiance". I plan on including bonfires, food, a speech from the Baron, and a part where they throw things and mock those in the stocks for malicious unhappiness.

Strahd will show up, covered up. He will share with the baron that strahd knows he has Ireena (due to scrying and hearing his voice in the house). The baron, however, is oblivious.

The baron tells a guard to fetch Izek (who is missing, oddly). He blames the outsiders for bringing Strahd to them, that they're spies of the devil.

They talk back and forth before Strahd attacks the Baron and his hounds.

It then all turns into a massive fight.

You have Strahd and his spawn from the coffin shop (they have still been hiding after the bones were retrieved).

You have the players (and then ezmerelda supporting them, coming out later as a surprise).

Against strahd and players, the Baron, his soldiers, and Izek.

All the while, Rictavio let's out Ramses on the Vistani present to take advantage of the chaos.

It's going to be one hell of a party.
