I know i know.. another one... but I'm almost done.
Anyways I am planning on running the slightly expanded feast where there's like 16 vamps that get out and terrorize the town being lead by one of strahds wives. At this point I want to know if I should either
A) Have an NPC tip off the party that something is up at the coffin makers and suggests they go check it to kick things off. A-1) If so which NPC do I use and why? Main thoughts are either Vassili, Rickten, or The marticoves.
B) Just have the vamps start attacking the town. So interrupt their downtime be it either drinking at tavern or sleeping.
C) Have the Baron send a group of guards to arrest them or put them under surveillance (again either drinking or sleeping) and during that process interrupt with an explosion and or screams as vampires start attacking.
D) any other option that someone can think of that sounds great.
I know I've had a bunch of posts thanks to those that read and respond to them. You people are amazing and help me so much I really can't thank you enough. I just think and work better by having someone to bounce ideas off of and get juices flowing. Also I'll be honest I'm better at taking material and modifying than creating my true own, and im indecisive as fuck sometimes.
If you've followed my many posts the last few days and know whats up (if you don't and want to know message me and im all to happy to be chatty Kathy and talk about it) The current plan is to use the feast tonight (in game) as a reason to delay the Festival. This will allow the baron to prep and then try and arrest the party and friends at the festival where lady wachter will step in and start her riot and hopefully the party is somewhat forced to back her play for the town.
