TLDR: Would Strahd kill one of his brides in response to them threatening/about to kill Irena?

So as with my other post earlier said I'm prepping for the Feast of St Andral.

I'm thinking of doing the version where its run by one of the brides with the main goal to "kill" Irena instead of strahd killing father Lucian.

In the end I want to have Strahd show up, (hopefully on buecephalus, stop the whole thing with just his words and demands. (After plenty of distruction already and hopefully cinimatically with the bride grappling and about to kill Irena) There will be a slight monolog apology to the towns folk and PCs for his brides "abhorrent behavior".

Then in a twist I want him to turn to his bride tell her he loves her and she is amazing...BUT you tried to kill my guests, and worst of all my Tatiana. And I told you what would happen after last time didn't I? The bride will fall to her knees begging forgiveness and he will look down at her, using his finger tip to bring her head up and eyes locked with his, smile and say. "Shh. Shh, I forgive you. Its just in your nature." She sobs a thank you and learns her head into him kissing his fingers as his other hand caress her head and hair.. Strahd looks up at the PCs and in a blur of movement detaches the brides head from her body.

He will order some of the spawn to bring her body back to the castle to be laid to rest in the crypt. (Or maybe to be taken to the Abbot to bring back or fix? Idk)

For Strahd I'm going for a misunderstood and unfairly judged ruler who's just trying to do the best for his people and is actually helpful (clearly a ploy for the PCs, as well as Irena and to show no where is safe without him). However I do what to highlight some horrorish elements and showcase his willingness to kill and be ruthless if/when crossed. Besides the gift basket outside death house and then the funeral in the village they haven't seen Strahd yet or any glimps of his power and such. Apart from the paladin who had a dinner with him 1 night when he got trapped in the chariot and brought to the castle while the rest kept going to Vallaki instead of following/chasing after him.
