I have DMed maybe a total of 20 something sessions, starting with a revamp of Cult of the Reptile God. So, not a lot of experience. I know CoS is for people with experience, but I LOVE the vibe, and feel like I can make it work.

However, I keep running into hiccups. For context, I run the game on Roll 20. I ran into a situation where a fight happened in the streets of the easternmost town (can't remember the name rn). I scrambled to find a map of a generic street to fight in.

For those who have run this, what are general resources or tools you used and pulled up to help run your games?

Also, role-playing is something I have a hard time with, that and descriptions, done on the fly improv style. What can I do to work on those as well?
