Why I don't look autistic

I've definitely noticed one of my kids getting upset and distracted from having their underwear on backwards

Well jeez. I'm a non autistic adult, and that would be maddening.

Soft, pre-washed cotton at that. I'm not autistic (that I know of/care to diagnose on top of adhd) but I think people overlook just how much more comfortable off the rack clothes have gotten in the last 30 years.

Plus, in the context of this post, people really overlook that new clothes are usually a bit stiffer and rougher for the first few months. That's not a big problem as an adult because you know it'll change. Kids' clothes frequently don't fit long enough to get there. So they're always just a bit less comfortable than the adult equivalent.
