I started experiencing Thermal Runaway errors on my OG Aquila after replacing the hotend with new thermistor and heater. Thought the new thermistor was bad, so I replaced it with another new, screw in type. Same issue. So I thought maybe it was my heater, replaced that and still same errors. Replaced both again, same issue. Did the PID autotune a dozen or so times, and the machine was still acting wonky. Sometimes the CL Touch would probe the bed then the print head would just stop moving, others it would keep throwing the TR error somewhere between probing and the first few layers. Decided to try printing one more time but I used Prusaslicer this time for some reason. Machine worked beautifully. Tried again by slicing with Prusa, no problems. Done probably 6 prints now with no issues.
Today I tried using Cura again. Bed was probing and got the TR error again. Hmm, sliced the same model with Prusa and no errors. So why is Cura making the machine act up? I haven't changed any settings in it but now I can't use it.
