I recently tried using cura again after a while of using prusaslicer for my ender 3 because of its tree supports. I noticed some really bad stringing on all my prints since switching.
I decided to try messing with my retraction settings but they all came out near enough the same so I decided to look watch the printer as it printed a stringing test. I quickly noticed that the extruder wasn't acctually retracting the filament which explains the same results over and over again.
After looking online and seeing others with this problem I tried their suggestions of turning combing off, however this did absolutely nothing and the filament still wouldn't retract.
is there any other solutions that I could try or is that really the only one
