Motorbreath smalls sprayed with terpenes or thca distillate?

Got an oz of motor breath smalls from jk distro that seems off, the buds are dark on the outside and light on the inside, the buds are “fresh” but they crumble when broken up. the smoke is also harsh, not terrible bad but more than I’m used to to. Anyone else have similar experience with them or was it a one off ?
