Cult of the Lamb has been slightly laggy and I can't figure out why

When Playing, sometimes the screen will halt for like a split second and things will resume normally until it does this again about 5 - 10 seconds later. I even tried lowering the graphic settings and ensured all the drivers were up to date. I haven't encountered an issue like this while playing No Mans Sky or other games. These are my PC Specs:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10900F CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz

Installed RAM 32.0 GB

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Windows 11 Home

RTX 3070

Any help would be appreciated
