In a continuation of my last post that seemed really well received, I thought I'd post about when you actually decide to move into the lifestyle, how we got things going.

I already touched on sharing pictures of my wife's feet online but I didn't speak about her setting up her own account here on Reddit.

Once she decided that the lifestyle was something she was open to, we set up an account on a highly recommended swingers site here in the UK but it quickly became clear that we were not ready as a couple to take that step so we deleted and she set up an account here to start posting pictures of her feet, herself in lingerie and the odd nude or two. These all were edited and blurred in order to maintain privacy. We both know that when something makes it's way onto the internet, it is there forever in one corner or another so we do our best to remain under the radar. The unfortunate reality is, women are far more judged on promiscuity and sexual freedom than men, this seeping into our real lives could be really damaging.

The reactions to these photos posted were amazing. Her confidence shot through the roof but along with these came the inevitable Reddit fap-addicts who would strike up a conversation and seem like great guys. Compliments were great, conversation was fun, start a little sexy talk, they would (I imagine this is the case) bust a nut and then not speak again. She felt used. It did set her back a little, but overall, the positives far outweighed the negatives.

Riding on this wave of confidence, she went out for drinks with her best friend who knew that it has been a fantasy of ours to invite a third into our relationship. They went to a pub where they met two other guys, sat together all evening and actually discussed our journey with them. They were both confused and surprised by all accounts but come the end of the night, my wife ended up kissing one of the guys before coming home.

She told me what had happened the following day and how guilty she felt about it. I couldn't believe she had took that step! I was thrilled, turned on, I asked questions etc. I honestly believe this was the point at which she realised that I wasn't interested in getting into the lifestyle in order for me to have an excuse to go and sleep with other women. She was shocked and surprised at how I reacted to this and while the guilt didn't go away for her immediately, she came to terms with it and knew that I wouldn't look at her any differently, I would still love her and respect her the same as I always have.

We decided that if we were doing this, we needed to sign back up to the swingers website that we were on previously, pay for membership and go in with a different attitude. We decided what dynamic would be best for us, we have kids and childcare isn't something that is readily available for us so we decided that her playing solo was the best option. There are safety concerns with this route of course, but the site we are on does have that added layer of verification, reporting users etc. and meeting in a public space is ALWAYS the best thing to do. Anyway, I digress.

It did not take long for someone to stand out and pique her interest from the dozens of messages she received. They struck up a conversation and after a while, phone numbers were exchanged and video calls were made to chat in person. This then led her to setting a date with him and booking a hotel!

That's how the first date came to be....honestly, we haven't looked back.
