So, we've and she's done a few minor things prior to this, we've been together for almost 3 years. But she, 32F, is at a work friends house right now. She should be home with me, but I'm feeling bad, a bad cold or something, and I'd told her to go home so as to not get her sick. (we live seperately, but on week's her children are with the dad (this week) she's usually here). She took a new job back in the summer, and a guy that I know works there. They struck it up. Talking regularly, texting, nothing crazy. They'd semi planned dinner and hanging out a couple of times back in October, but it fell through both times. Fast forward to this evening, she'd txt that she was leaving work, I'd (41M) just laid down in bed because I'm feeling bad. I dozed off and woke up an hour or so later to txts that she was home, that her mom was coming over for dinner together, and the last txt was "lol, xxxx wants me to come stay the night with him". To keep it short, she decided to go, and got there 45 minutes ago. We all live in a rural area, she's 20 minutes from me in one direction, he's 10 minutes the other... If things don't work out she'll come back here, but the plan is, she'll be staying the night with him....this is something she's never done before, and I kinda love it honestly. I've not heard from her for 40 minutes or so, I'm hoping he's well on his way to round #1 of a couple or a few for the evening.
