I have been away for a few days and already hundreds of posts and comments piled up. The funny thing is people who love to comment under a post "This subreddit sucks, where are the mods!?" and there is ZERO report on the damn post. How these people expect us to moderate posts and comments that have flied under the radar? Our automated filters are made of bunch of nightmarish regex expressions and built-in Reddit heuristics. Everything is filtered to the max already. We cannot see violating content in our queue unless you,

We are frustrated, as a result from now on ban penalties will be harsher, meaning perma-ban first and let the user deal with it. If you are engaging in a subreddit and not reading its rules, it's your problem, not ours.
Until now we tried to be more lenient and understanding and I hate that we have to be more harsher and further put fuel into the asshole Reddit moderator stereotype but it is simply a numbers thing. Once a subreddit becomes popular, its members and engagement start to rise almost exponentially and I don't know how other mods deal with 1M member subreddits without getting paid or using some kind of AI automation.
If you have serious moderator experience with similar communities to ours, please feel free to send a modmail or DM me directly. Please no non-established accounts or OF creators who use moderation for marketing their content.
