Years ago my ex wife and I split up because she cheated on me with her married boss. Basically she left me to be his mistress. It hurt worse because for the 16 years we were together she had never once wanted sex with me, but with him she couldn't get enough.

Over the years we have become really good friends again, although she has always tried to hide anything to do with him from me, so not to hurt me more. Recently we have been getting closer and it came to a head a couple of weeks ago when I asked her if she would like to go out on a date with me and see how it went.

We had an amazing evening I took her to a show at a local theatre and then a late dinner. I drove her home and at the door I lent in for a kiss and she let me kiss her cheek.

The next day we were chatting and she was upset. Basically she wanted to keep things going with me to see how it went, but knew that she loved him. She loved me and wanted to be with me, but like before she felt no physical attraction to me, but knew he was never going to leave his wife to be with her.

I told her that I understood and I told her I just wanted her to be happy, so I proposed a solution, we get back together but she continues to be his mistress. Best of both worlds.

I told her if she did I could see three paths, I'm no fussed which way she goes. Dont tell him about us and continueas they have been, tell him we are back together and I'm okay with them doing what they do, or thirdly tell him we are back together and just let him think she's cheating on me still.

I know that this is basically condemning me to a sexless life, as she won't ever want me, and i would never cheat on her. As hard as it will be, I love her and if thats what it takes to be with her then I'm all in.

I also told her that she doesn't need to hide anything from me about what they get up to, in fact I would love to here all about it.

She has actually gone away for a naughty weekend away with him this weekend, they are at an industry conference together, same field of work but different companies now. And she admitted that she will be sharing a motel room with him when they are not at the conference.

And has promised to give me an answer about our future when she gets back.
