Mod Suggestion: Enchanted Woodland biomes
Post Body

Right so, I'm sure you've stumbled upon Enchanted Forest landmarks in the game before. They're these pink/purple colored areas with a soothing music that contain some kind of objective, be it a rescue mission, key item location and so on. So, since those areas already exist in the game and the game already uses certain values for grass coloration, leaf coloration, fog, and it even has its own soundtrack (enchanted-forest.ogg), why not turn that into a region/biome type? Take a Woodland region and just apply those values to it, keep the mobs and everything else in it the same. I wouldn't even mind if you had to replace all Woodlands with Enchanted Woodlands, but if you can add one and keep both, that would be even cooler. Of course, this would change world generation quite a lot, since you're adding a new biome to the pool.

Anyway, what do you think? Modders out there, do you think this could be possible? I don't have any modding skills or knowledge, but considering this is technically already in the game, something tells me this is probably doable. I've already been surprised by what the modders have done with the new Cube World so far.

Here's how a typical Enchanted Forest landmark looks like in the game: https://i.imgur.com/tJ9hPg8.jpg
