The doctor told me that recovery is 6 weeks, but since I'm young and healthy, I could potentially recover in 2 weeks. Well, here I am at 2 weeks, and while I'm not feeling 100%, I'm definitely at 90 %!
Today I even started doing some light exercise (Those 2lb weights aren't completely useless, after all!)
Today, it's hard to believe that just 2 weeks ago I was under the knife. It was scary and surreal at the time, then it was hard to do the simplest things. Now, I'm at a point where if I'm at home all day with the baby, I don't need to worry about what I can and cannot do. It's still pretty surreal, because every day it's harder to believe it even happened. I never wanted a c-section, but every day that matters less and less.
