Post Body

Hi. I'm a new user and just received my Jade Green today.

I was there all happy, sent 182.82 to my card and went on a food delivery site (here in Canada) to order some grub.

  1. The food was 37.75.
  2. I received an email from CDC saying I was charged 45.3.
  3. I check the app and it shows a complete transaction for the food service, saying 37.75
  4. I have 137.52 (which is 182.82 - 45.3) in my account, which means that it was indeed charged 45.3. But even inside the CDC app it shows the transaction value of 37.75.
  5. The cashback was based on 45.3.

What is this nonsense? Where is my money?

EDIT: Thank you all for the answers. It was a bit scary seeing that happen on my very first transaction. Now 12h later all is normalized.
