Playing media directly off the blockchain, big deal or not?

Just to point you in the direction of a recent tech demo by Rchain claiming to show the storage of data on the chain and the direct playing of media from the chain. Afaik, this hasn't really been a thing especially when it comes to the storage of NFT media on the chain itself. But I'll let you decide...also sorry the background music sucks.
