In the previous parts we covered the history of the concept of an API, the intricacies of connecting APIs from what has been defined as 'web 2.0' with blockchain-based smart contracts, the idea of first-party oracles, the process of quantifying security on-chain and a bit of the theory behind DAOs, along with explaining our approach in applying them to the API3 DAO.
