Post Body
Has anyone ever done this? It seems incredibly complicated and my crypto tax software (TokenTax) doesn't even support it.
However, I understand it's a perfect viable option.
E.g. Let's say I have 1 ETH at a cost basis of $1000. I buy one more ETH at $4000 and sell it shortly after for $4100. I would want to specific my cost basis for the trade as $4000, not $4100.
