The issue with investing in most new microcap memecoins is the developers have a tendency towards making risky plays with investors money, siphoning off liquidity, or worse draining the entire project leaving investors with nothing.
It’s very hard to determine which microcap memecoin projects are trustworthy. Most developers who run these projects had an average income prior to managing a project that got lucky and suddenly exploded with growth. As we see over and over again the temptation becomes too much and the developer runs off with millions or even billions of dollars.
$BRICK was initially developed by Reddit for r/fortniteBR as a new way for people to be rewarded for their contributions to the r/fortniteBR community. r/FortniteBR prohibits the transferring or selling of $BRICK acquired within the r/fortniteBR community. This essentially has created two versions of $BRICK: The internal version, found within the r/fortniteBR community, and the external tradable version found on sushi.com and RCPswap.com (Reddit Community Points swap). This has produced the effect of locking the internal community supply as it’s unable to be sold.
What makes the external and tradable version of $BRICK an ideal candidate for the next memecoin is the fact it’s back by Reddit, a company valued in 2021 at $10 Billion. Reddit likely spent tens of millions of dollars hiring coders and analyzing $BRICK to make sure risk was absolutely minimized to near zero.
I believe $BRICK is extremely undervalued with a marketcap of just $2,800,000. This is a drop in the bucket when compared to other memecoins of years past such as Dogecoin, Safemoon and Shiba Inu. Dogecoin at its peak had a marketcap of $88.8 billion dollars. Just for comparisons sake, if $BRICK ever gets to this marketcap, you’d see a return of 3670x your initial investment, meaning $500 invested today would turn into $1,835,000.
