How is bringing back distributions bullish for moons

I see people in the r/cc daily (some with lots of moons) saying they want distributions to return and that it will be bullish for moons? How?
Apart from heralding another era of rubbish posting in the sub, wouldn't that mean further inflating the supply, thereby decreasing the value of any current moons in circulation?
