I am curious what would happen if Ledger, Trezor or any hardware wallet company goes under for some reason and they stop updating/supporting/seling the wallets?

I understand your device will keep working but what if it breaks or you lose it? Where are you going to enter the secret words to import the wallet if you can’t get your hands on a working and secure one?

What would be the situation in such a scenario with other wallets such as MetaMask or paper wallets? How are you going to access your funds?

Been in crypto for a long time, haven’t really dug up on the matter and would be happy if somebody explains.
