Why is btc safe?
I am not a complete noob but for sure don’t know a ton.
I am wondering why pretty much everyone says btc is safe.
I get that it was the first, biggest, and most developed, but what really makes it safe? Not asking to be funny I am looking for real reasons to help me understand.
To me it feels like saying a vault is safe. Sure it seems safe and secure but just one good incident can ruin that all.
Say world wide mining is suddenly outlawed for whatever reason. What happens to btc. Sure no more could be mined but also without miners transactions can’t be verified so it stops.
Also what does btc actually do other than make money. Once again not trying to be funny or negative. I am just trying to learn and understand better.
Thanks for any input.
