We all know the old saying "not your keys not your coins" however we can all agree a big percentage of holders will just leave their assets just sitting on different centralised exchanges thinking there is no risk involved in doing that.
A few days ago a friend of mine holding about 117k was all of a sudden locked out of his account for no real reason at all as the market was crashing, being unable to do anything at all his whole account was wiped off, suspiciously the lock on his account was removed as soon as he had nothing left.
This shows me a real issue if we ever attempt to gain massive adoption, centralised exchanges like u/kucoin in this case are by no means any better than banks, if something they are just worst since they would just keep silent and pretend nothing happened.
what are you thoughts on the centralised exchanges situation? and i would like to see u/Johnny_KuCoin step up and answer on u/Anonmap situation i want to believe this has to be some kind of error that can be resolved somehow.
